An exciting weekend at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan had two Alliance teams bringing home Ontario Cup hardware.

The U13 Boys captured the Provincial Championship in an exciting game against West Toronto. Theo Rigopolous with two assists to both Anthony Strouji and Wesley Pranger who would score the two goals for Alliance. West Toronto came up with some nail biting chances, but Goalkeeper Ethan Berry wouldn't let anything past as he captured the clean sheet that would bring the Alliance team to a 2-0 victory.  

The following day the U15 Girls would take on Oshawa in their final match. Alliance started strong with some opportunities to open the game, but Oshawa was able to recover with two goals in the first half. The skies opened up as the teams continued to battle through pouring rain, and in the second half Annika Nolte scored the lone goal for Alliance FC off a cross from Sabrina Velani. A 2-1 final gave the U15 Girls the Ontario Cup Silver.

Congratulations to both teams for their accomplishments. The Ontario Cup is in it's 104th year, and is the largest club competition of it's kind in Canada.
